Herb

The State Emblem of the Republic of Tajikistan was adopted on 28 December 1993. This national symbol is a stylized image of the crown and a semicircle of seven stars above it. Star surrounded by rays of the sun rising over the mountains, shrouded in snow and lined with a crown of wheat ears and the right of the branches of cotton with opened bolls on the left. On top of the crown Perevi tape from the bottom is a book on the ledge on the crown podstavke.Tri symbolize the country's administrative division into three regions - Khatlon, Zarafshon, Badakhshan. Crown is also a symbol of the country, because the word "Taj" is translated from the Tajik language as the "crown". Seven Stars - traditionally the sheer number seven is sacred to the Tajik people, it was thought that it brings happiness and bestows virtue, and as a symbol of perfection. The sun, rising over the mountains, is a sign of the onset of a new life and light, wheat-ears are the country's wealth and are a symbol of agriculture and settled life. Golden mountains with snowy peaks represent the ridges of the Alai, Zaalai Mountains and the Pamirs.
