Departments and Offices

Currently, the Republic of Tajikistan has developed the following structure of agencies and services standardization

  • Tajikstandart and its territorial bodies;
  • The Committee on Architecture and Construction under the Government;
  • Ministry of Nature Protection;
  • Ministry of Health;
  • Service of Standardization in the Ministries, departments, enterprises;
  • Inter-State Technical Committees for Standardization, members of which the Republic of Tajikistan.

    

One of the main challenges is the harmonization of technical documentation with international and regional standards and the creation of technical regulation and standardization based on the requirements of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade. The main aspects of standardization in the Republic focus on: safety, environmental protection, prevention and liquidation of emergency situations, the defense, the unity of measurements, quality assurance, technical and informational compatibility; resource.

The structure of the Metrological Service of the Republic of Tajikistan consists of the state metrological service and the metrological services of legal persons.

In the state metrological service, led by Tajikstandart, are organs of state metrological service Sogd, Khatlon and Badakhshan, Regional Office for Standardization, Metrology and Certification. By the metrological services of legal persons include metrological services of public administrations, enterprises and organizations of the republic. The regulatory framework of state system of measurement is complex (funds) regulations, which include interstate and state standards, other normative documents regulating the order of transmission of measurement units the size of the whole territory of Tajikistan and the order of testing, verification and calibration of measuring instruments. Metrological basis of all efforts to ensure the uniformity of measurements in the Republic is the State standard base, which includes the original model of the instrument and set the highest accuracy. Tajikstandart carries out the state metrological control and supervision.

The certification system was created to organize and work on mandatory certification of products and services and provide the necessary level of objectivity and reliability of the certification.
Tajikstandart is the national body for accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories, centers, and certification bodies of similar products. Since 1997, the Republic put in place a unified system of calibration and test departments.
