Trade Inspection is part of the Agency on Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is organizing and carrying out state control over observance of rules and regulations of trade and catering, quality and safety of products and services to the consumer market.

The objects of state control of trade inspection in accordance with its tasks are enterprises, institutions and organizations regardless of ownership and departmental affiliation, the citizens, implementing producing food, consumer goods and services.

The work of Commercial Inspection follows the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan, Presidential Decree, regulations of the Republic of Tajikistan decrees and orders of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Provision Tajikstandard, orders and directives of the Director Tajikstandard governing the trade of Tajikistan and the provision of the Trade inspection.

Their work Commercial Inspection shall, in cooperation with other units Tajikstandard, local executive bodies, bodies of state supervision and control of exercising control over observance of legislation in the consumer market.

               The main objectives of trade inspection are:

· Organizing and carrying out state control and supervision over the observance of norms and rules of trade and catering, quality and safety of consumer goods;

·  Efforts to prevent abuses in the trade and public catering and non-receipt of the consumer market poor quality products;

·   Implementation of measures to protect consumers' rights in trade, catering and services.
